Quran Teachers Training Centers Open in Egypt
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Two Quran teachers training centers were launched in Egypt’s Luxor governorate, an official said.
According to al-Bawaba news, representative of Awqaf Ministry Sheikh Mohamed Salih Abdul Rahman said they were inaugurated by the ministry in line with efforts to promote Quran memorization, especially among the youth.
He said one of the centers is at Al-Zawaya al-Baydha Mosque in the city of Esna and the other is in Al Yahya Mosque in El-Tod.
According to the official, those taking courses in the centers learn not only Quran memorization teaching but also get lessons on religious and educational issues.
